SAN LUIS OBISPO – The Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery at Cuesta College is excited to announce the opening of “The Faculty Show ’23,” an art exhibition showcasing the exceptional talents of the Cuesta College Fine Arts Faculty. The exhibition opens on Oct. 26, with an opening reception from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. 

The Faculty Art Show spotlights the wide range of talents within Cuesta College’s Fine Arts Department. Faculty members display their expertise across various mediums, including ceramics, collage, design, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and sound. 

“The Faculty Show is not just a showcase of talent but a testament to the rich, creative environment we nurture at Cuesta College,” said Tim Stark, Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery Coordinator. “It’s a reflection of the relentless pursuit of creativity that our faculty members embody and offers our community a glimpse into the captivating range of work emerging from our dedicated faculty.”

“The Faculty Show ‘23” features the collective work of the following faculty members: Teri Sanders Brown, Inga Dorosz, Tony Hertz, Douglas Highland, Guy Kinnear, Margaret Korisheli, Canguo Liu, Britanny Mojo, Michael Norton, Jessamyn Pattison, David Prochaska, Lauren Rayburn, Sommer Roman, Ruta Saliklis, and Susan Shaw. Artwork sales partially fund the Fine Arts Access Scholarship.
